Using ICT in Union Work
This ‘hands-on’ course for local officers provides an opportunity to develop ICT skills, through the Microsoft Office suite. Hearth, the Union’s community website, forms a central part of the course. The course will examine how ICT and Hearth can help you:
- make the local officer’s workload easier to manage;
- promote the NUT and its policies; and
- enhance communication with members.
The course caters for beginners and people who have some experience of using ICT who wish to develop their skills. The course will include small group work, where appropriate, to assist officers in developing and practising their skills.
