Part-timers, supply teachers and returners fulfil an increasingly important role in the education service. This course has proved valuable as a springboard into new career opportunities and involvement in the NUT.

The course aims to:

• help you decide on your priorities and recognise your professional skills;
• provide you with information and advice on the NUT’s support for part-time teachers, supply teachers and returners; and
• help you to think about how you want to develop, professionally, personally and in terms of involvement in your Union.
