The NUT’s Response to ,’RAISING Expectations Staying in Education and Training Post-16’
This consultation is the response to the government’s consultation on extending the compulsory system of education post-16. The NUT argues that whilst increasingpost-16 participation is a crucial part of increasing levels of the workforce, any focus on sanctions and criminalisation for failing to participate would be counter-productive.
