The news that pictures of a Cardiff teacher having a book thrown at her has now been removed from the website on which it could be accessed, has been welcomed by David Evans, Secretary of NUT Cymru.

He said, “Since the pictures of this incident, which occurred 18 months ago, appeared on the website, we have sought to support the teacher and the school and to seek to have these images removed from the website.

“We are pleased that the pictures have now been taken away. They should never had been placed there in the first place. The school dealt with the incident promptly and efficiently to the satisfaction of our member at the time. It is in the past and that is where it should remain.”
