If you are employed on a contract of employment for one calendar year or more in England, Wales, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man as a full-time teacher or working more than 0.6 of a full-time timetable use Table 1.

If you are a part-time teacher working more than 0.3, up to and including 0.6 of a timetable, daily or hourly paid (supply), or working more than 0.6 of a timetable for two terms or less use Table 2.

Or if you are one of the following:

(a) A part-time teacher working 0.3 or less of a timetable
(b) A teacher working 0.6 or less of a timetable for two terms or less

your joining rate is £41.50* or £1.00 if you are newly qualified in 2011.
