ICT Skills courses: Spring Term 2012
The NUT's 'ICT Skills for teachers' courses are led by specialist tutors in local colleges and learning centres. Courses are FREE to NUT members or £150 to others.
Each course is designed to increase participants' skills and knowledge; raise confidence in applying these; and contribute to personal and professional development.
Courses include Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) using either SMART or Promethean technology/software AND/OR multimedia elements (e.g. Publisher or Digital Photo).
Lights Camera Action at Bedfordshire College (ICT06) is a special course for learning how to create edit and publish videos.
PLEASE NOTE
IWB courses
Dedicated IWB courses are for experienced users with basic ICT skills including Word Excel PowerPoint and/or SMART/Promethean IWBs
SMART IWB + Publisher/Digital Photo courses
Applicants should have either attended a previous ICT Skills course or have some experience of using SMART IWBs prior to starting this course
