Health and Safety Representatives
NUT health and safety representatives in all schools have an essential role to play in monitoring the conditions in which teaching and learning take place.
The course aims to:
- help you to develop the knowledge and skills to carry out your role effectively;
- brief you thoroughly on your rights and functions as health and safety representative;
- give you a clear understanding of the basic framework of health and safety law; and
- give you practical support and up-to-date information on the most commonly raised areas of health and safety.
