The course will examine the role of the local association and division equal opportunities officer.

The course provides:

• opportunities to discuss how the equality issues can help promote and strengthen the Union at local level;
• strategies for implementing NUT policies;
• an introduction to negotiating for equality; and
• an update on the legal and policy framework.
